Wanted Dead or Alive
Why do you open the blinds or shades in your house?
To let the light come in, silly!
Why do you put sunglasses on?
To keep from being blinded by the light.
Why do you go to church every now and then?
Oh, to make yourself feel better.
Why do you mow your lawn? Why do you gossip about others? Why do you spread bad news? Are you the light in the midst of darkness, or are you the darkness that enters the light?
These may all sound like silly questions, but I bet if you give thought to it you will find some deep spiritual meanings.
The big question I want to leave you with is this; who is Christ in your life? Is he a superhero in a book that lies on the coffee table? Or, is he someone that brings light to your life?
Stop being the walking dead and come alive in Christ. There are many things in life we cannot change; however, this one we can.
And you can’t put skin on a skeleton in hopes of bringing it to life, but you can skin a skeleton and take the life out of it. Love those around you and forgive often. Your life depends on it.
May the peace and grace of Christ be with you.
