Spirit in the sky
What does it take to be an optimistic dreamer? If I were to ask ten people where I could find some positive energy where do you think they would point me? Some people have good luck charms, some have spirit strands, or odd routines that bring them the positive mental attitude they need to get through the day. What about you? What is your spirit in the sky that guides you towards greatness and away from disaster.
I probably overuse the words dreamer, greatness, and positive in some people's eyes. I do realize that there are people that would love to just have what others consider to be a normal life. We may not all be Olympians, movie stars, or super hero's but we are the STAR of our own life. You remember the old quote "the body can achieve what the mind can conceive". Let's consider for a moment that to be a true statement. If in fact garbage in produces garbage out then I do not think you can ever overuse positive terms.
We all have those leeches in life that literally suck the light right out of the bulb. The interesting thing is you may be one of those light suckers yourself. Based on what I have written thus far if you or someone you know is draining the life and hope out of you then the garbage in garbage out theory is true. The question becomes why do you (we) do it. Gossip is one of the grandest delusional killers of dreams that the devil devised yet it is so prevalent in our lives. Can anyone of you think of what is to be gained by talking down about others. For your good luck charm or spirit strand to work it does take a conscience positive effort on each of us.
I have seen lives literally ruined by negative actions of people that could quiet simply have been avoided. God did not place in our hearts the desire for revenge, that is a learned experience. God gave us the ability to love from birth. We were not born with prejudices, hate, opinions, bigotry, or enemies, that all comes along by our garbage in garbage out behavior. The cool thing is this, if it is a learned experience that would also mean that the opposite is learned as well. We can do positive in which over time will no doubt produce positive out. Listen to the right things, watch the right stuff, read the good books, say the right things, smile instead of frown, and it short order your view of life will be transformed.
The spirit in the sky is not some pie in the sky silly saying or quote it is God in our lives. You know the difficulty of putting a square peg in a round hole I am assuming. Well when you try to put hate or prejudice into God's temple (your body) it simply repels and does not work. What happens is it creates bitter division inside you that leads the mind in all kinds of bad directions. For life to be in order we have to follow that which God placed in us. God gave our hearts, mind, and soul love, forgiveness, and acceptance from the beginning. Go back to your grass roots and allow the real spirit in the sky to shine a light on the new you. We will no longer be the life sucking energy drainers that others run from. We are going to be the magnet of positive dreamers that attracts people to what we have. What do we have? Well, God plus you plus a host of friendly dreamers equals and awesome combination.
