Three strikes you are OUT
In life we make choices, we do not always know the outcome, however if history is an indication of the future some actions are predictable. Never the less when you believe anything is possible you do realize that the slightest change can bring about the butterfly effect. If that effectuates change in a positive way amazing things happen. BUT when we get caught up in the mistakes of the past we lose sight of what could happen. The predictable outcomes guide our lives to a predictable conclusion. No inspiration, you tilted, you struck out, the lack of humility was overtaken by the power of past behavior.
I remember her saying, "I JUST WANT MY LIFE BACK". She stepped out on the edge, made some high risk decisions, and fell off the mountain. The fall was fast and furious as was the crash at the bottom. Now in an act of desperation she was begging for the not so good life she once had. The middle was much better than the bottom.
This my friends is life. It is played out everyday in every household. It might not be on public display but it is there it is real. Few people know who we really are and we are taught early in life to guard our thoughts. We are taught to mesh into the norms of society. Granted that is not always a bad thing but when it robs you of your hopes and dreams GAME OVER, you tilted.
Who are you is a powerful question of love. It is a question that respects the one who created you. It is a question that can inspire hope and give meaning to life. The answer to who you are is certainly not simple, it is a work in progress, a journey not a destination. You are an ever evolving soul. The search for self stirs fear in others because you are seeking something higher than the expectations society placed on you.
Life is a highway filled with road signs, pot holes, critters, debris, and other drivers with bloodshot eyes. The obstacles are great but the reward for entering the highway with a destination in mind is greater. You can't get to California from Tennessee if you head east. You can pray for all the miracles in the world, you can beg God for guidance, you can head out with all the hope in the world BUT if you head East in a car from Tennessee you will not get to California without a boat. Life's highway is the same. Create that dream life, tune up the car, fill it with gas, know where you are going, prepare for the obstacles, have a vision, make adjustments, and most of all go the right direction.
Never let someone else tilt your game. No one is going to strike you out. We live a life of chance and we are rewarded for taking chances. Instead of GAME OVER, I say let's start a new game.
