WHERE IS THE LOVE
Where is the love?
This will be short, simple, and thought provoking.
How do you treat others? Please, before you say something like "I treat people like they treat me", or, "I always treat people nice". let's take a minute to reflect.
Do you ever walk into a place of business to order something while on your phone? I know that is just a product of the age in which we live, even though it is highly rude, it has almost become a norm. Where is the love?
Have you ever used on negative experience as an opportunity to lash out on social media? I hope not, but only you would know. Regardless who we are or who we encounter, every situation will not have the desired result. Sometimes it is our fault, whether we will admit it, sometimes not. Regardless LOVE is absent when you choose to air out someone else's failure to please you on social media.
Do you spread gossip or create opinions based on someone else's words or worse something you read or heard on the news. Hate comes in the simplest of forms. Hate can only grow when others or ourselves choose to pour fuel on a spark that otherwise may have just burned out if left alone.
Love unites, hate divides. LOVE knows when to be quiet, HATE could care less. LOVE understands we are all sinners living imperfect lives. HATE only sees the bad in others while defending the positions we take regardless if they are right or wrong.
LOVE is up to each of us. As you go about your day, ask yourself in everything you do, am I promoting love or hate. No in between, let's keep it that binary. Our actions either promote LOVE or HATE. I have a feeling you will struggle, especially in the age in which we live. For some odd reason people think it is appropriate to speak negative about others on social media. Remember LOVE or HATE.
I urge you to do this. If we desire to have a world of love, it positively will not start unless you are the one that starts it. LOVE comes from you. Stop blaming, whining, and making excuses. It is time to allow LOVE to work in your heart.
Before I close this, I must say something. Do not be that person that says "I tried love and I only got hurt". If you stop loving you are the one hurting others. Pay attention to what I said. We have all been hurt and believe it or not we have all hurt someone else with our words or actions. Let God come alive one more time in your life. Show kindness and love to everyone, regardless what you get back. Before long your life will be surrounded with people full of love and light. They will be different but together you will teach the world to sing in perfect harmony.
