Create a life without limits

What are you waiting for? We are getting close to the New Year.
Whether you set resolutions or not, somewhere in the recesses of your mind, you know there is something you would like to do different in the New Year. The problem with most people is that we keep waiting for an elusive something before we get started on the task we know will make our lives better.
Let me take a wild guess at this, how about waiting for the weather to get warmer, waiting for the kids to grow up, waiting for the election to be over, the polar snow to melt, or the price of gas to come down.
As long as you are waiting for external factors before you make internal decisions, the new you will never emerge.
Let’s create this New Year as your birthday. That’s right, the new you is about to pop out.
Do not get caught up the negatives that currently surround your life. I believe with all my heart that there is something you can do different today that will have a positive impact on your life in the next two weeks.
I also believe that there is something you can do today or tomorrow that would make your life worse over the next two weeks. If the two choices you have are to make your life better or worse, why would you ever choose the negative?
For those that have read my writings over the last four years you know that I love spirituality, humanity, and the love for our creator
I also have written about and truly believe that the keys to success and significance are love, acceptance, and forgiveness.
On the most elementary level, love, acceptance, and forgiveness are what you owe yourself before you can offer it to others.
To be born again or start fresh it all has to begin with the way you see yourself. You can wait for the cows to come home or the ship to come in all your adult life and I can assure they will never happen if you have a negative view of self.
I watched a DVD recently called “From no limbs to no limits.”
It is about a young man born without arms and legs yet he somehow fell in love with God and himself and his life truly has no limits. He learned to accept where he was in life, and once that happened, he was able to use what most would see as limits to create an amazing life without limits. What this young man does pales in comparison to what you can do.
Let me share with you the power of love. Over the last two years I have watched a person come as near to self destruction as humanly possible. This person did everything one could do to sabotage their life. Once he (she) got to the bottom of the barrel and all that was left was death itself in a moment of seeming tragedy his life was born. A life was lost and one was saved. God worked on this person in the most dramatic of ways and today this person I am speaking of travels the country teaching people the love and forgiveness of Christ.
I challenge you today to accept that fact that the words you are reading is exactly for you. Today is the beginning of tomorrows dream. Over the next few days make it a point to read, listen, watch, and speak nothing but positive.
Read the word of God if only for one minute a day. Forgive yourself for all the wrong you have done, accept yourself just as you are and where you are, and then began to love yourself. I can assure you this, over the next few days you will awaken a great power in you that was there along. It was just shoved deep below the surface by all the negatives that have surrounded you. Remember the love in you is God himself and God plus you equals enough.

Peace to you
Dale
