The Questions of life

How important is it to find all the answers to life's most imposing questions? I think the answer is to ask more questions. You see in the quest for spiritual knowledge the answer lies in the asking of questions.
It would be easy to ask questions like:
Does God really exist and if so prove it
Why do some churches have rules that are impossible to follow
How come we have to have faith in people that have no faith
Can I really love those that trespass against me
Did man really walk on the moon
Does heaven truly exist

For the most part none of these questions can be answered by us with absolute certainty so what we must do is keep asking more questions. If you go to any large bookstore and seek out the "self help", or "faith, religion, and spirituality" you will find books filled trying to explain the answers to these questions. In the end you must admit it only leads to more questions.

Where does that leave us seekers of truth, knowledge, and wisdom. Honestly, it keeps us seeking. Our entire lives we must always stay in search of. That is how we stay fresh and energized. Think about it a different way for a moment. You settle in as they say and become comfortable with the knowledge and information that you have been provided. With almost child like enthusiasm you face the world to promote what you hold to be good and true. Then something happens that dampens that excitement or reveals another set of questions that makes you wonder about the truth you held too. The point here is we have to keep asking questions and seeking knowledge because when we think we have it fully understood we will lose what we thought we had.

People question going to church because of all the problems facing religion. Most that know me know that I speak out about religion but I do enjoy gaining knowledge and expanding my faith through church. We must have some conduit that provides our brain with the eagerness to seek further. If that conduit is church that is a good thing. As I try to always disclaim, church is a GOOD thing.

To conclude this reflection of questions and answers let me say that it is very important that your questions always are intended to bring you peace and unity in life. Stirring anger and bitterness usually helps no one and in the end brings grief to yourself. Climb the mountain to seek the wisdom and enjoy the view as you go. The constant seeking of life's answers through questions will lead you higher than you can imagine. Stretch your brain to the limits and then stretch it further. God is in the questions more so than the answers.

peace to you
