YOU MATTER
How can I convince you that every life matters. Or better every action matters. Everything we do and every person that exists makes us who we are.
There are so many people that come into our lives, have a positive impact until we find out that they have morals that are less than desirable. Does that make their positive impact on us negative? I can't answer that for you but I can suggest that even people we think are bad can have positive influence on our lives.
Give thought to that a moment and as it reverberates in your mind let me remind you again of the people that Jesus encounters in the Gospel. The righteous religious, the holier than thou, the I am better than you, the my way is the right way, all those people feared Jesus and could not even consider walking the walk. Some tested the waters and even said they were Christians but they knew in their hearts that they were only masquerading. The people that walked with Jesus and he with them were the down and out, the society outcast, the heathens, the sinners, the backsliders, prostitutes, tax collectors, and thieves.
Jesus was clearly here for everyone but the one's that wanted him were the ones that knew they suffered sinful tendencies time and time again. The righteous that hid behind status struggled to admit that they were sinners.
My point is this, those lives mattered to Jesus and so does yours. You matter more than you will ever know. What you did yesterday is not what you will do tomorrow. Take away any action and life is different. Not just for you but literally millions of others. Yes every action creates a ripple effect felt around the world. There is no insignificant person or action. The most negative of actions if followed far enough have a positive outcome somewhere.
The reason I write this is because I want everyone to know that life is truly precious. The people we come in contact with all have a story that has impacted their live which in turn impacts yours. Never allow yesterday to create a hopeless tomorrow. The tides of time and change are moving constantly and with that fresh opportunities to promote love and peace are literally everywhere. You kind, you matter, you are someone special. Believe it, live it.
