Self discovery

You ever wonder why we spend so much time trying to be someone other than ourselves? It gets so diluted to the point we have no idea what our capacity for greatness truly is. Think about your professional career or that of your parents. How many people simply cannot escape the path someone else laid out for them.

I have heard for years that the enemy of great is good. That means when we settle for just being good at something it is a spit in the face of what lies inside us. We all were born to win we just lose the will to fight as we get older and more settled. Those dreams we once had fade away and the once flaming fires slowly dwindle to embers until finally even the smoke is gone. What is left is a shell of the once magnificent person we were born to be. We were born an original yet we work our butts off to die a copy of someone else.

Whether it is finding a church home, understanding your sexual identity, working out the emotions of being true to self, or simply loving the body you were born with, all we have is encased in the skin that covers our amazing body. 

Be true to yourself people say, what the heck does that mean if you don't even know who you are. When you live in the midst of a society that manipulates your moves in such a fashion that you think you are the one in control, it is easy to get confused. As others gain power they use people beneath them as fuel to climb further. We become the stepping stone for someone else. It is possible, however to find yourself and learn to be true. It takes some hard choices, lots of faith, and the will to win. We will all surely die one day but a low percentage of us ever learn to live. I think it is time to take the vale off of life, remove the mystic, learn to trust your dreams, pave the road ahead with awesome ambitions. Life is for the living and if you are reading this you are 100% alive. There is no reason to put off developing the will to win. It is like starting an exercise program, lots start but few stay with it. Give yourself a chance to prove that you really are the greatest miracle in the world. Stand up and be yourself, the discovery of what lies inside just might surprise you.
