Philosophical side of Life

Do you ever wonder why you believe what you believe when deep down you are not sure if you really believe it or not. For our minds to understand something it has to make sense. When something doesn't make sense we either have to fake it, faith it, dispute it, or deny it. It is near impossible for us humans to simply accept that which we do not understand. There does come a time, where in, we just give up and go with the flow but that in and of itself causes conformity problems which further makes us deny a belief we refuse to explore.

Where am I going with this? Ask yourself the same question. Where are you going with the life questions you suppress rather than explore. I think it is crucial for our spiritual development to allow ourselves permission to go where others fear to tread. Faith, as we are taught, is accepting that which we do not understand. I am good with faith being a part of our spiritual growth but I am even better with pushing your mind to the limits of seeking answers to the questions that have plagued humanity sense the beginning of time.

The question still remains, why do you believe what you believe? At what point do you chalk it up as a mystery of life and just rely on the fruits of faith to guide your way. This is where I wanted to inject my philosophical view of life. Understand please that this is just my thoughts.

Life is a series of events. Some are good, some are bad, some are great, some are sad. In the end we live and ultimately die. There are millions of questions that surround our life while we are living but I think as we near the fourth quarter of life we become increasingly concerned about what happens when the game is over. Lots of books have been written about near death experiences, supposedly that is our sedge way to what lies ahead for those that have given their lives to whatever the right religion is. The strange thing about the near death is that they are just that, near death. No one, to my knowledge, has come back a couple years after death to give us a comprehensive view of life on the other side.

We can talk about faith, we can talk about religion, but regardless what anyone says the uncertainty and difficulty to believe is front and center in our minds. We cannot conceive that which we do not understand. Which brings me to the point I would like to make. Life is about living, not dying. Life is not about how to hate, who to be jealous of, what color shoes to wear, or who to block on facebook, life is about learning who we are and what makes us happy. Life has purpose and in that purpose there is passion. The only way to find passion is to live. You cannot live in the shadows of others and hope to find who you are. God created you to be as individual and unique as the snowflake. When you learn to accept that individuality and embrace it life starts happening. A great tragedy in life is when people are breathing but not living.

Learn to live a life with love, forgiveness, and acceptance for others. You are not perfect nor will you ever be. Your mistakes are just as bad as mistakes made by others. Accept what you have done, forgive yourself, forgive others, and for gosh sakes keep living and making more mistakes. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to explore at length the beauty and awe of your own life. Live on the edge, follow your dream, give yourself every permission possible to be the real you. Death will come, but life will never come until you decide to live it.

peace to you
Dale
